I am currently the appointed organist at St. Paul’s Church, Barton, Newport, Isle of Wight, a position I have held since 1990. 

My interest in the church organ began during the 1980’s whilst studying the piano under the tuition of the highly respected teacher Miss Kathleen Lower, the former organist at St. Thomas’s Church, Newport.  I then progressed to having organ lessons with her and became deputy organist at St. Paul’s Church, Barton, in the second half of the 80’s.  During my time of study I took many examinations with the Association Board of the Royal School of Music and regularly took part in the Isle of Wight Music Festival Competition.  I am a member of the Isle of Wight Organist’s Association and frequently play across the Island for weddings and funerals.
